VISITORS
Enter through the front entrance. You must present your ID to the security guard at the front desk.
PICKUP / BUS CHANGES
Please send a note in with your child if there will be ANY change in their usual dismissal protocols, including if you plan to pick your child up early for any reason.
DROP OFF PROCEDURE
Arrival
Please use the Lower Rocky Point Entrance at AMPS. Cars should line up behind the LADSBS Back Gate (by the cafeteria). Drivers must follow the correct flow of traffic by signs, arrows & security guards at all times.
Dropping Off
Do not park. Stay in your car & follow the line of cars. Have your child sit in the passenger side of the vehicle. Say goodbye to your child before you pull up to the back door. Do not get out of the car, you will drop your child off & security will be there to help your child into the cafeteria.
Drop Off After 8:35am
Students must be dropped off at the front entrance instead of the back door. Please fill out the drop off log with the security guard at the front desk in the lobby.
PICK UP PROCEDURE
Arrival
Drivers must follow the correct flow of traffic by signs, arrows & security guards at all times.
Parking
Cars should park in the upper lot & walk to the cafeteria door for pickup at 2:50pm. You MUST present your ID.
Pick Up Changes
If anyone other than you will be picking up your child, or if there is any change in their dismissal protocols, you must send a note to notify the school.

OTHER STAFF
Your child is not permitted to attend school if they had any of the following:
Fever in the past 24 hours greater than 100F (taken orally, without fever reducing medications)
Vomiting in the past 24 hours
Diarrhea in the past 24 hours
Strep Throat or Pinkeye (must be taking antibiotics for at least 24 hours before returning to school)
For the health & welfare of all other students, kindly keep your child home if they are sick.
Yes, please obtain a Doctor's note from your child's pediatrician clearing them to return to school.
Yes, please send your child to school with the following items:
The required school supplies at the start of the year
Refills of school supplies, as requested by your child's teacher
Daily lunch, or please ensure your child has funds in their My School Bucks account to purchase lunch
Daily snack (some classes are allergy alert classrooms, which means that snacks cannot contain nuts & possibly other allergens; please check with your child's teacher for specifics)
Appropriate attire for outdoor recess (label all items incase they are misplaced, as misplaced items will be stored in the lost & found)
