WHAT DOES PTA OFFER FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS?
Although Miller Place PTA is chartered to serve grades PreK-8, we provide the following great opportunities for HS Students:
Attendance at certain PTA events that are open to the entire community
Volunteer hours at all our events through collaboration with the HS Service Club (please sign up via the Service Club to volunteer at our events)

PICKUP / BUS CHANGES
Please send a note in with your child if there will be ANY change in their usual dismissal protocols, including if you plan to pick your child up early for any reason or if anyone other than you will be pickup up your child. Your child will not be permitted to be dismissed by themself.

Your child is not permitted to attend school if they had any of the following:
Fever in the past 24 hours greater than 100F (taken orally, without fever reducing medications)
Vomiting in the past 24 hours
Diarrhea in the past 24 hours
Strep Throat or Pinkeye (must be taking antibiotics for at least 24 hours before returning to school)
For the health & welfare of all other students, kindly keep your child home if they are sick.
Yes, please obtain a Doctor's note from your child's pediatrician clearing them to return to school.
